Punjab Labor Card Apply Online Form 2021 Labor Department, Government of Punjab is inviting labor card online application at pblabour.gov.in. People can now check the complete list of schemes run by the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Welfare Board for Laborers. If any construction worker wants to take advantage of BOCW schemes, then he can register with Punjab Labor Department. Punjab BOCW Board is running various schemes for laborers like stipend scheme, shagun scheme, LTC, ex-gratia, general surgery, tool kit scheme, maternity benefit scheme, balari gift scheme etc. Any building construction worker, construction worker or any other person who is doing labor work in Punjab can now fill the application form of the scheme on the e-labor card portal.

stipend scheme for children of construction workers

The children of the registered beneficiaries of the Board studying in different classes/courses are given stipend as per the new rates from 1st April 2016:-

Punjab Shagun Yojana for marriage of daughters of construction workers

The Punjab government has increased the grant for the marriage of daughters of construction workers under its Shagun scheme from Rs 31,000 to Rs 51,000. This increased amount will be applicable from April 1, 2021. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh took this decision while presiding over the 27th meeting of the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (BOCW) Welfare Board through video conferencing. Daughters of construction workers registered with BOCW Welfare Board are eligible for grant under Shagun Yojana.

Further, to ease the process of availing the benefits of the scheme, the Chief Minister approved amendment in the existing conditions to make valid marriage certificate issued by any religious body, gurudwaras, temples and churches admissible for the purpose. Is. While 50% payment can be received in advance, the balance will be provided on production of marriage certificate by the competent authority under the amended rules.

Amount of Rs. 31,000 was granted on the marriage of 2 daughters of the first registered construction workers as omen. Now this amount has been increased to one lakh rupees. The important features of Shagun Yojana for 51,000 construction workers are as follows:-

a) Shagun scheme will be applicable only once on the occasion of marriage of two daughters (upto marriage of two daughters) and will not be applicable in case of second marriage.

NS) If the daughter herself is registered as a beneficiary with the Board, she will also be entitled to the amount of Shagun on the occasion of her marriage.

C) The registered worker can submit the application within 3 months from the date of marriage of the daughter. It is necessary to attach the certificate obtained from the marriage registration authority with the application.

D) If the beneficiary has received such benefit from any other department/institution of the Punjab Government, he/she will also be entitled to get the benefit under this scheme.

ex-gratia scheme

The new ex-gratia amount applicable from 30 March 2015 is as follows:-

ex-gratia scheme

If the beneficiary is getting benefits under ESI, then he will not be entitled to get benefits under Anugrah Scheme. Also, if the beneficiary has been issued a health card under BPSSBY, he will not be covered for accidental death or total disability benefit under this scheme.

LTC Scheme

In this Leave Travel Concession Scheme, every registered construction worker will get Rs. 2000 assistance for travel to religious/historical places or home town in India. The beneficiary will be eligible for this benefit after every two years.

occupational disease plan

It is a medical health scheme for registered construction workers and their families. In this scheme, registered construction worker beneficiaries can get health benefits up to Rs. 1.5 lakh per year on family floater basis. The occupational disease scheme is being launched with the help of Punjab Health System Corporation. The benefit under this scheme is not less than the RSBY scheme.

funeral plan

In this scheme, BOCW will provide financial assistance for the expenses incurred on cremation and funeral rites in the state of Punjab after the death of a registered construction worker or his family member. An amount of Rs.10000/- is provided by the Board for the expenses incurred on cremation and funeral rites in the state of Punjab after the death of a registered construction worker or his family member.

Teeth, Glasses and Hearing Aid Scheme

In this dental, spectacles and hearing aids scheme, BOCW will provide financial assistance for spectacles, dentures and hearing aids for the beneficiary construction workers and their family members. In the state of Punjab, Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board provides financial assistance (subsidy) to its registered beneficiary construction workers and their family workers for spectacles, dentures and hearing aids at the following rates:-

General Surgery Assistance Scheme

Financial Assistance Scheme for “General Surgery” of registered beneficiary construction workers and their family members. The Board has approved financial benefits up to Rs. 50,000 or actual expenses (whichever is less) to the registered beneficiary and his family members for general surgery.

maternity benefit scheme

The board also provides Maternity Benefit Scheme for registered construction workers. Under this scheme, women construction workers will get Rs. 21,000 Male construction workers under this scheme will also be entitled to avail this financial benefit for the birth of their two children at the rate of Rs. 5,000

Balri Tohfa Yojana (Birth Gift Scheme)

Financial assistance in the form of FDR of Rs. 51,000 (up to a maximum of two girls) is given on the birth of a female child, which can be redeemed only at the time of the daughter’s marriage. Preference will be given to the tenure of the fixed deposit, first till the age of 18 years and then till the daughter’s marriage.

mentally retarded child benefit scheme

Financial assistance scheme for the care of mentally retarded children (son/daughter) of construction workers 20,000/- per annum. Mentally retarded or handicapped certificate obtained from Senior Medical Officer of Government Hospital or ESI Hospital is to be uploaded on the web portal of the Board.

tool kit plan

Financial assistance up to Rs. 5000/- for purchase of equipment to the registered construction workers trained under the Board’s skill upgradation or RPL scheme. A construction worker can get the benefit of tool kit scheme after every three years.

pension scheme

A registered construction worker after attaining the age of 60 years and completing 3 years of membership, is entitled to a pension of Rs. 2,000 per month. Family pension @ Rs.1,000/- per month is also provided by the board. Membership certificate is issued to the construction worker immediately after registration with the board.

Cycle scheme for children of registered construction workers

Under this scheme children of registered construction workers who are studying in class 9th to 12th in Punjab will get free cycle from BOCW board.

Bhagat Puran Singh Health Insurance Scheme

in this Bhagat Puran Singh Health Insurance SchemeAll registered construction workers can avail free treatment without any limit on the size of the family.
